The DT Swiss XR391 rim is the manufacturer's widest XC model with its 25mm internal width. It is stabilized during welding with a small block and then CNC-machined to ensure a seamless transition.
Convinced of its robustness, DT Swiss specifies the weight limit of the system at 110 kilograms with 440 grams of weight (29 inches).
The wheels are mounted with special DT Swiss washers that allow load distribution and reduced wall thickness, thus saving weight. These washers also act as a ball joint, making the spoke perfectly oriented. Of course, it is Tubeless Ready.
